About CRAFTİSTANBUL
The CRAFTİSTANBUL International Handicrafts and Design Fair is one of Türkiye’s leading international platforms for handicrafts, design and cultural heritage. Its 7th edition takes place on 1–4 October 2026 in Yenikapı, Istanbul. Handicrafts embody a community’s memory, aesthetic sense and cultural continuity — CRAFTİSTANBUL is a bridge carrying living heritage into the future.
A Supported Sectoral Domestic Fair
The fair is included in the Ministry of Trade’s 2026 list of supported Sectoral Domestic Fairs; exhibitors can benefit from Ministry incentives.

Primary Material: Stone
Carving and engraving in local stones such as alabaster, marble, meerschaum and Oltu stone; regional work in semi-precious stones like jade, lapis lazuli and quartz.
Primary Material: Wood / Plant
Wood carving and inlay; special techniques such as Edirnekârî, kündekâri and kalemişi; woven plant fibres, baskets, spoon-making and musical instruments.
Primary Material: Animal
Wool, hair, leather and hide; bone, horn, coral and mother-of-pearl products; Karagöz-Hacivat shadow-play figures and carved horn objects.

Iron, copper, brass, bronze; gold and silver work; Trabzon wirework (hasır), kazaz, filigree, niello and tombak techniques.
